“BOOKABOO is a world famous rock puppy who to tours the globe with his band, playing drums to packed stadiums of adoring fans. However, there's just one hitch for our rock puppy super star, he just can't play without a story a day! Each episode sees a famous face share a picture book with BOOKABOO to encourage him to go back on stage. 'Bojo' restored, the rock pup can play and wows the crowds the best canine drum solo ever heard!“
This is the craft we did at Tales for Tots, a program held duringToddler Time at momstown KW.
We used the cutout of Bookaboo provided by Kids CBC and popped him on top of a paper tube so he could stand up. All we needed was a touch of glue to keep the folds down!
There was also a few different colouring pages too:
A video of Bookaboo featuring the book The Subway Mouse was also donated, and then given away at our event!
Scholastic Canada provided the book `The Subway Mouse“ which was read to the crowd.
The book is about a mouse named Nib.
“One day, Nib sets out on a quest to find Tunnel's End. Along the way he faces danger, finds a friend . . . and discovers a place more wonderful than he ever dreamed.
After we finished reading the book, it was raffled off and this little boy, and his younger sister took it home to add to thier library:
After the fun crafts and book reading, it was time for socalization and play!
A favorite part of every Toddler Time program!
All the excitment was a little tiring for this little girl:
