Wipes, wipes, wipes. We use them all the time and for everything. Even as a mom with a 5 year old, I am still keeping wipes handy in every place possible. Heck, I even use them for various things regularily. (they are great for taking off make-up!)
At our Walmart sponsored Baby Basics program, we discussed topics like the best uses for wipes and which ones work for certain situations. Of course, with wipes, we had lots of great conversation about diapering. Boys vs girls, one brand vs another, cloth vs disposable and creams too. (see all the photos from our event here) From the discussion, momstown Kitchener-Waterloo moms realized that they would all like to know how to make their own homemade baby wipes. After all, it is eco-friendly, natural and economical. Not to mention they are great for those sensitive bums! I recall a Naturopath, Dr. Jessica Gurske ND, coming to speak at our Belly Basics program one evening and she showed us how to do exactly that, using Coconut Oil. I knew that there would be other moms also interested in this recipe so I tracked it down from Dr. Jessica's blog and am sharing it here with you.

One more thing, we realized there was always a need for disposable wipes when we are on the go! We love these ones specifically from Huggies, Pampers and Parents Choice as our favourites and really are loving the clutch from Huggies, all available at Walmart.ca. Did I mention the FREE SHIPPING?
