These healthy banana chocolate chip muffins are a great way to hide some fibre in your family’s diet. It is a great and easy recipe to keep in mind when looking for something to do with all the bananas in the freezer, when another loaf of banana bread just won’t do.
1 cup of whole wheat flour 3/4 cup of all bran buds cereal 3/4 cup of ground flax seed 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips (or 1/2 a cup, I won’t judge) 1 tablespoon of baking powder 1 teaspoon of baking powder 1 teaspoon of baking soda 1 teaspoon of cinnamon 1 1/2 cup (or 4-5) really ripe bananas 3/4 cup of brown sugar 3/4 cup of milk 1 egg
Preheat over to 400 degrees.
In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients together.
In medium bowl, beat all of the wet ingredients together, mixing the bananas in well.
Pour all wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
